Who we are
FinSpec AI (Pty) Ltd operates the finspecai.com platform, providing AI-powered financial analysis services. We are the responsible party for the processing of your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (“POPIA”).
What we collect
- Account details — Name and email address
- Financial data — Trial balances and company information you upload
- Payments — Handled securely by Stripe, a certified payment processor; we never see or store your card details
- Usage analytics — Anonymised, cookie-free site analytics
How we use it
We process your information to deliver our financial analysis service, manage your subscription, and improve the platform. We do not sell your data. Financial data sent to our AI provider is contractually protected and never used for model training.
Your rights
Under POPIA you can access, correct, or delete your personal information, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at contact@finspecai.com to exercise these rights, or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Security & retention
All data is fully encrypted — both during transfer and when stored on our servers. We retain your data while your account is active. Upon deletion, data is permanently removed within 30 days unless required by law.
